TMZ is reporting that Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown spent Grammy night together with Bobbi Christina. Hopefully they got together for Bobbi Christina and not because they are trying to reconcile their marriage. I mean she is finally starting to look amazing and get her life back on track, getting together with him could mess that all up. Whitney, don’t do it!

Whitney Houston stayed at her friend Natalie Cole’s place during her vulnerable first few weeks of sobriety. Cole faced her own battles with alcohol, cocaine, and heroine and had the experience and patience to help Whitney get back on her feet:

“Whitney is finally clean and doing wonderfully!” revealed the friend.
“Natalie could see symptoms in Whitney that no one else would recognize. She’s talked her through the weak moments when she wanted to take a hit or do a ‘little’ coke - and over time those moments were less and less.”

That’s a touching story about one old friend helping another. I hope Whitney fully recovers from her lost years and starts kicking ass in the studio again. She should give that bitch Madonna a run for her money.

Brown Reality Show Cancelled…. R&B star Bobby Brown’s reality TV series has been cancelled after ratings plummeted when estranged wife Whitney Houston no longer appeared on the show. BEING Bobby Brown aired on US network Bravo and executives have officially cancelled the show after it suffered dismal ratings. Houston announced she was separating from the My Prerogative singer after 14 years of marriage in September (06). Brown is still spending time with Karrine Steffans, a former hip-hop performer and actress who wrote a book about her sexual escapades with celebrities. Steffans is currently writing another book about her experiences with Brown.

Whitney Houston is holding an auction of her personal effects in what is thought to be an attempt to save the New Jersey mansion she once shared with Bobby Brown. The singer fought a public battle with a crack cocaine addiction after her sister-in-law sold pictures of her dirty drug-strewn bathroom to The Enquirer in late March. Among the details that came out in the article was Whitney’s sister’s claim that she spent hours holed up in her bedroom high and pleasuring herself with a large collection of sex toys.
After that public scandal and a divorce from Bobby, Whitney made a comeback of sorts and showed up at some events appearing well put together. She now owes tens of thousands in back taxes on her $6 million property, which faces foreclosure if she doesn’t pay up.
Her publicist claims she’s just cleaning house and doesn’t need the money to save her home. Goodies like leopard print bustiers and colorful stage props are expected to be snatched up by divas with cash in hand:
In an embarrassing financial scare last year, Houston - who’s been in rehab for drugs and recently filed for divorce from Bobby Brown - nearly lost her spectacular $6 million, 10-acre estate in Morris County because she owed tens of thousands of dollars in back taxes. But Tuesday’s sale by A.J. Willner Auctions should be a small windfall for Houston, thanks to hundreds of her fans, as well as a number of impersonators, who are expected to whip the bidding into a frenzy.
Among the items on the block are 13 of Houston’s Dolce & Gabbana bustier bras adorned with animal prints and sequins; four velvet bodysuits with “WH” logos; six black stretch pants; several gold, black, white and red evening dresses; and 16 wardrobe cases.
In addition, Houston is selling off musical instruments and props used in her stage shows over the years, including pianos, keyboards, drums, synthesizers, speakers and amplifiers. Among the more unusual items are a slot machine, a leather whip and a chair described as “Whitney’s throne.”
Some of her soon-to-be ex’s possessions are also on the block, including “16 assorted Bobby Brown music awards.”
The article seemed unclear as to whether it was at Whitney’s home, but according to the website of the auction company, A.J. Wilner, they do onsite liquidations. That means it’s probably at Houston’s mansion and we’ll get some great pictures of the inside of her house.

Whitney Houston may have gotten rid of troubled hubby Bobby Brown, but she may be having trouble coming up with enough green to pay her bills. A New Jersey company that stored hundreds of items the pop diva used on her concert tours - including designer-made costumes, sound equipment, musical instruments, furniture and tools - is auctioning off the goods next week because Houston stopped paying the storage bills in 2005. "It’s a warehouse full of stuff from her shows," said Steve Newmark, co-owner of A.J. Willner Auctions, which is conducting the sale Tuesday morning in Irvington, N.J. Among the 400-plus items up for grabs is a custom-made, see-through grand piano that Newmark said was worth between $300,000 to $400,000 when new. A chair described as "Whitney’s Throne" is also up for grabs. Also selling are dozens of flashy costumes and clothing from such designers as Donna Karan, Dolce & Gabbana and Bob Mackie. "The auction is open to the public, but only for qualified buyers," said Newmark. "We’re probably going to combine a lot of the individual items, like the costumes. It’s not for a teenage fan hoping to buy one of [Houston’s] trinkets." Houston’s publicist told the Daily News the auction consists of "old equipment from past tours that she doesn’t need anymore. It’s not unusual for artists to sell off staging and equipment not in use anymore." But Jeffrey Campisi, an attorney for Jersey-based Speed of Sound, confirmed Houston’s company, Nippy Inc., owes an estimated $200,000 to Speed of Sound in unpaid storage. Tuesday’s auction, though, could turn out to be a windfall for Houston. According to Campisi, New Jersey law states that any proceeds exceeding the $200,000 storage debt goes to Houston’s company.
If you don’t want the stuff anymore then sell it and just don’t leave it there and not pay the bills. I hope he makes the money back.
