The Paley Festival announced that X-Files was added to their line-up on March 26th. The creator Chris Carter and producer Frank (who won’t get a last name because he destroyed Kolchak: The Night Stalker) will be talking about the Fox show and the upcoming movie!!! More names will be added and I hope that David Duchovny is one of them!!!
I am sure they will be showing scenes from the movie!!! So just for that it is worth it!
Tickets are available via the Paley Center and on TicketWeb.

Finally the first pictures of Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny as Scully and Mulder on the X-Files 2 set!!! Chris Carter also let USA Today in on some more good news.
Ten years after the first film and six years after the show went off the air, The X-Files returns to theaters with Fox Mulder, Dana Scully — and a lot riding on the bet that fans want more of the FBI’s paranormal-investigating agents.
The film, which remains without a formal title, will dump the long-running "mythology" plotline — that aliens live among us and are part of a colonizing effort — that made it one of the most popular television shows in the late 1990s but ultimately drove away some viewers who found it too complex and ambiguous.
"We spent a lot of time on (the mythology) and wrapped up a lot of threads" when the show went off the air in 2002, says Chris Carter, creator of the series and director of the new movie. "We want a stand-alone movie, not a mythology conspiracy one."
Thank gosh, I hated the conspiracy theory I like the X-Files when they investigated the X-Files cases so I can’t wait to see what they will be investigating in the movie!!! BTW neither of them looked like they have aged since they left the show.

BTW Amanda Peet joined the cast along with Xzibit and Billy Connolly last week.

The Truth is Out There, this is a must have for any X-Files fan!
Fox is releasing the entire series — all nine seasons — plus the movie in one huge DVD box set. The set is pretty massive, with a whopping 61 DVDs, documentaries on each season, deleted scenes and behind-the-scenes featurettes.
With Christmas just a month and a half away this is the perfect gift for all X-Files fans. In fact I am a X-File fan, so who wants to buy me that as a present?
Seriously guys that amazing DVD box set of every episode and the first X-Files movie is available today in stores so run out and buy it before it is completely sold out!!!

Fox Mulder and Dana Scully are finally coming back to the big screen next year for the sequel to the 1998 movie X-Files which of course came from Fox’s X-Files show!!!
Chris Carter, David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson begin filming the much anticipated movie in Vancouver in December according to Variety! No word about the plot or anything else about the movie except that it is finally a go!
Forget Indiana Jones IV, my must-see movie for the summer of 2008 just became X-Files 2!!!

The 90s are back, and with them comes the X-Files. Maybe. While out promoting his new television show Californication, David Duchovney said he and the female lead Gillian Anderson, as well as director Chris Carter were signed on. This isn’t the first time David has mentioned a sequel to the television series and movie, and no release date has been confirmed. The truth is out there. (Sorry, I couldn’t resist.)
“I’m supposed to see a script next week,” he said during a session promoting his new Showtime show, Californication. “I’m actually supposed to see it next week. Before I would just say that because they told me.”
Duchovny reports that the Scully to his Mulder, Gillian Anderson, will reprise her FBI agent/skeptic role, and series creator Chris Carter is due back to direct and cowrite the film with series vet Frank Spotnitz.
“Chris is going to direct it. Gillian is on board and I’m on board,” he said. “I’ve been talking to Chris and he has been giving me progress reports. He actually called yesterday and said next week you should have something to read.
“I’m really looking forward to seeing what he did.”
Like all the other X-Philes out there, I’m really hoping Mr X and Smoking Man make an appearance, and what happened to Mulder and Scully’s son William after he was adopted? Will Scully get cancer again? Will the sexual tension between the two agents reach a climax? This was the perfect show, combining sci-fi and soap opera.
According to the (very long and detailed) pages on Wikipedia, the show has a huge following even now. I remember when Gillian Anderson was such a sex symbol, around the same time Teri Hatcher was the most downloaded image when wearing just superman’s cape. All that suited steaminess, now we’ve just got Girls Gone Wild and crotch-baring celebrities.
