The Big Brother 8 house has an anti-semite in the house

Source: seriouslyomg.com

She might not be a liar, but she is an anti-semite. I hope she goes out this week so everyone can ask her about her comments and not forgot what the stupid whiny bitch said. I am glad I skipped Big Brother this season if that is the crap they let in the house this season.

Big Brother 8 will also air on Showtime Too

Source: seriouslyomg.com

Showtime Too will be airing 3 hours of live unedited feeds from CBS’s Big Brother 8 every night from 12m - 3a according to Variety. They will be taping stuff from multiple cameras in the house from 9p - 12m for Big Brother: After Dark. Because the show is on cable there will be nudity, cursing and sex if the housemates are doing any of that, so we will be able to see exciting things like Mike “Boogie” Malin jerking off in the jack box. This makes me wonder what type of people they are bringing into the house this year if this is the first time they are spinning off the show and putting it on cable? Sounds like they are going to be of wild and crazy people that will make this summer hotter! Big Brother and Big Brother: After Dark will premiere on July 5th.
On a related note, Mark Burnett’s latest failure Pirate Master will be moving Tuesdays starting on July 10th

Big Brother contestant booted for using N word in conversation

I usually don’t pay attention to the news about the “reality” shows, even if there’s a fake engagement and a bunch of infighting.

We did cover the racist scandal on Big Brother UK this January, when Jade Goody hurled ignorant racist remarks at Shilpa Shetty. Shetty ended up winning the contest and getting all sorts of career opportunities while Goody became a public pariah.

Now another racist scandal has rocked the Big Brother house - with a contestant using the “N” word. In the formerly all-girl house of twelve, which now has one male member, three girls were dancing when one referred to the other using the forbidden word. It wasn’t an insult though, and it seemed like she tried to do it in an oddly casual way.

The Big Brother people took her aside a few hours later and made her get out without saying goodbye to anyone.

Emily Parr was removed from the Big Brother house in the early hours of this morning after calling Charley a “n*****”.

The blonde 19-year-old was dancing with Charley and Nicky in the living room of the Big Brother house at approximately 8.30pm last night when she was heard to say “Are you pushing it out you n*****?” to Charley.

Emily immediately made clear that she had not intended to offend and that the comment had been meant as a joke. In discussing what she had said, Charley and Nicky agreed that they were not personally offended, although both did express shock at the language she had used.

Emily then admitted she should have been more careful with her words.

The comment was not screened as part of the ‘as live’ streaming on E4 and was immediately reported up to senior production staff at Endemol. The decision was taken to remove Emily from the house.

Emily was called to the Diary Room at approximately 3.30 am to be informed of the decision and was removed from the house immediately without further contact with other contestants. The remaining housemates were informed of Big Brother’s decision at approximately 9.30am today.

Emily was one of two housemates nominated for eviction this week and as a result the latest eviction vote has been suspended.

[From News of the World]

Big Brother officials say that it was a “careless” not a “malicious” remark, and it reminds me of Paris Hilton saying to some friends at a party in one of the Paris Exposed videos that “we’re like two n******” which certainly sounded derogatory to me.

Here’s a transcript of what happened:

Emily: (referring to Charley dancing/pushing her hips forward) You pushing it out you n*****.
Nicky: (shocked laughter) Em, I can’t believe you said that.
Charley: You are in trouble.
Emily: Don’t make a big thing out of it then. I was joking.
Charley: I know you were… but that’s some serious s**t, sorry.
Emily: Why?
Charley: Oh my god. I’m not even saying it.
Nicky: Just don’t talk about it anymore.
Emily: I was joking.
Charley: Do you know how many viewers would watch that?
Nicky: Okay, don’t make a big deal out of it.
Charley: Fancy you saying that. I can’t believe you said that.
Emily: Somebody has already used that word in this house.
Charley: No way. (Pause) Yeah, me. I’m a n*****.

Nicky laughs.

Charley: I am one. Fancy you saying it. I know maybe you see it in a rap song. Maybe you and your friends sit there saying it.
Emily: I’m friendly with plenty of black people.
Nicky: And you call them n******?
Emily: Yeah and they call me n******. They call me wiggers as well.
Nicky: I’m quite shocked.
Charley: I’m f***ing in shock.
Emily: It’s not a big deal though is it?
Charley: Not for us it ain’t. F*** me.

[From News of the World]

In the transcript above, Emily justifies her use of the word, saying it’s something she throws around with friends. People are going to say that it’s commonly used in conversation in the black community, but I don’t think it should be thrown around like that on television, even if it is a “reality” show.

You can watch Big Brother online on their website. The episode with the slur will air tonight, and ratings are sure to be up after this latest scandal.

Big Brother back on CBS this summer

Source: seriouslyomg.com

206114902_4e5b2402b7_o.jpg"Big Brother" will be back for another round of real-people melodrama. CBS has greenlit production on an eighth season of the hit summer sudser, which has become a fixture on the net’s warm-weather sked. After pausing last year for an "all-star" edition featuring past contestants, skein will return to its normal "real" people format this year. Julie Chen is on board to once again host "Big Brother," which first debuted in 2000, weeks after "Survivor" launched. Allison Grodner Prods. will produce, in association with Endemol USA.

I just wish they would get rid of Julie Chen already

Shilpa Shetty Can’t Stop Winning

In the story so Big they named a Brother after it … the international hubbub around this year’s Big Brother UK is moving onto its triumphalist tidying up phase. Taking the “Real World” template to new highs, or do I mean lows, the eventual race and class throwdown had an impact far in excess of the usual ratings bump. Prime Ministers, Columnists and Germaine Greers worldwide got in on the action … with a healthy dose of the sort of crazed over-coverage that the British tabloids have raised, or do I mean lowered, to an artform. A hysterical artform with highly amusing puns …

Quick recap for those of you who might have missed the teacup tempest :

The three celebrities accused of tormenting her on the show—Jade Goody, Jo O’Meara and Danielle Lloyd–have spent the past few days giving tearful interviews and explaining their side of the story.

Shetty was called a “dog” on the programme and a few of the housemates referred to her as “the Indian” saying “She should f*** off home.”

However, Shilpa is now looking at the brighter side of life. According to The Mirror she has been approached to write a book, appearing in UK films and a comedy show on BBC television.

The actress said: “I’d love to do a cookery show called: ‘If Shilpa Can. Anyone Can’” Turning to her love life, Shetty, who still lives with her parents, told the paper: “I’m single and I’m ready to mingle.”

Now Shetty … who sure can rhyme like a Cockney… and whose personal charm has a lot to do with the outpouring of public support is scheduled to go to the House of Commons, meet Tony Blair and the Queen. Ohhh and she won Big Brother as well …

She’s also in talks for books, TV, and movies etc. etc. etc. Satire and real life are dancing awfully close to each other these days – how are we gonna write funny about these things when they are proving that in some career boosting televisual way - that racism is the single girl’s new best friend?

Although for the full and final collapse you can’t really beat this quote from the producer Ronnie Screwala (not a made up name!)–

According to sources in London, the actor’s office has been getting offers for modelling assignments, films, and an endorsement of a Shilpa Shetty line of clothing and jewellery. “Shilpa has almost become an internationally recognised face against racism. Her celebrity status in the UK has certainly gone a lot higher and it will have an impact on her career here as well,” says producer Ronnie Screwala.

Backlash is of course mere minutes away … The Mirror is the first one off that news cycle block. It’s guarunteed to get up folks’ noses.

A TEAM of servants waits on Shilpa at home in Mumbai - including a hairdresser, a makeup artist, a secretary, a personal trainer, chauffeurs and a “spot boy” who tends to her every need.

She said: “My spot boy is my help wherever I am. He runs errands, makes tea for me and serves my guests. And he’d hold an umbrella for me if it got too sunny.

“A servant wakes me up in the morning and delivers my breakfast, and says something like: ‘Madam, it’s time to wake.’

A third celeb leaves the Celebrity Big Brother house

A LEO Sayer walked out of Celebrity Big Brother today just hours before he was expected to get the push after a row over PANTS. The Seventies pop star was facing eviction tonight and favourite to get the boot but quit the show rather than face the public’s vote. Curly-haired Leo, 58, escaped the house by battering down a door with a shovel. He is the third housemate to quit, after wannabe rocker Donny Tourette and film-maker Ken Russell walked last week. Leo had been nominated for eviction along with journalist Carole Malone and The A-Team star Dirk Benedict. The housemates commented on his departure: "Oh well, another one bites the dust." A spokeswoman for the Channel 4 show said: "Big Brother can confirm that Leo has left the Celebrity Big Brother house. "The housemates have been told that he will not be returning to the house. "Leo’s voting line has now been closed. Viewers can still vote to evict either Dirk or Carole in tonight’s show."

Since I live in the States, can someone who is watching the show tell me why all these celebs are walking off the show?

Celebrity Big Brother loses another one.

Film director Ken Russell has walked out of the Celebrity Big Brother house. The 79-year-old quit after a row with fellow housemate Jade Goody, the show’s bosses said. He is the second celebrity to leave the house, following the departure of rocker Donny Tourette on Friday. The film director had threatened to quit on Sunday morning after a run-in with Jade’s mum. A disagreement with Jade herself was the final straw. He made up with her after a few minutes, but then headed to the diary room to inform Big Brother he wanted to leave. He said: "There was a great deal to enjoy in the house and I’m sincere about that. I knew there’d be a few surprises but not of the kind I experienced. I am a big old fuddy duddy and some of the surprises were a little too much to take for someone of my sensibility."

At this rate will they have any one left on the show?

CBB’s Donny Tourette leaves the Big Brother building

347999427_a3475f5644.jpg?v=0Life as a servant just wasn’t rock and roll enough for Donny. The wild man decided to scale the wall and leave the Celebrity Big Brother House. Donny will not be returning to the House. At 11.28pm, the punk rocker discreetly snuck into the Servants’ garden for a nose around, followed by a curious Ian. Having sized up his options, the wild man decided to make a bid for freedom rather than explore a humble new life as a Goody lackey. So with a helping hand from his buddy Ian, Donny scaled the fence asking Ian to pass on his goodbyes to the rest of the group before dropping over the other side and out of sight. A stunned Ian was soon joined by his fellow Servants as they filtered outside into the garden. The former Steps star adopted a squeaky voice excitedly describing the wild man’s spontaneous break for freedom: "Donny’s just legged it over the fence! He said he’s not waiting on Jade! He’s gone!" "It’s a wind up" said Jo, as Danielle agreed, adding that he’s "hiding somewhere". Ian tried to fend off Leo’s accusations about giving the escapee a helping hand by maintaining that he thought Donny was only going to have a look around. But shortly before midnight, the servants had his permanent departure confirmed. Cleo was given an official statement from Big Brother to read out. The rock and roll star had left the building.. he’s not up for servitude… Was Donny right would his rock credability have remained intact after waiting on the Goody family, it starting to go pear shaped with the arrival of the Goody clan.

Female First

That is kind of cool that he did that! I don’t know who he is, but I am sure I will be buying his album soon!
