For whatever reason, Health Magazine must have thought it would be a riot to interview questionable size 2 actress, Jennifer Love Hewitt, who recently lost weight to make herself feel better. Health does the normal routine, asking her about her impending 30th birthday, her workout routine and her body. Jennifer goes through the motions, “I’m running a marathon,” “I enjoy yoga,” and “Enjoy your body while you’re young.” There is one gem in this interview when Jennifer offers sage advice to young impressionable girls.
How has your relationship with your body changed over the years?
…I wish I had been nude from the time I was 12 until I was 28. I looked great! I want to tell all young girls to walk around in bikinis all summer—and enjoy it. I want to tell them to never, ever feel bad about anything, because there will be that one day in your 20s when you’ll eat a hamburger and actually see the hamburger on the side of your leg. Initially it’s shocking, and you think, Whoa, I have to actually think about what I eat and work out double the amount I did before. Then you go, Well, now my body gets to make children, which is so cool. And I suddenly don’t look like a little girl anymore. I look like a woman. How exciting is that? You start to find value in other things.
I like how Jennifer defines 28 as the turning point. Coincidentally, that’s right around the time she started letting herself go and “becoming a woman.” That’s also about the time she convinced herself she was still a size 2 despite needing a shoe horn and grease to slip into her jeans. Amazing how that works. Now she says she’s no longer a little girl. Well, if this is what a woman looks like, let it be known, I much prefer little girls. You hear me? I want to have sex with little girls. Wait, no. Aw, crap.

Last November, people were disappointed to see the results of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s eat-everything-in-sight and-wear-a-bikini diet. She defended herself by saying she didn’t have to defend herself and that everyone was mean for calling her fat because she’s only a size 2. Except, everyone laughed and said, “maybe a size 2 times 5!” Anyway, Jennifer decided to finally lose the weight to make herself feel better, not because she wanted everyone to accept her.
“I am in a pretty good workout regimen that I like, so it inspired me to keep it up,” Hewitt tells Us. “The energy level and the way I feel now is great.”
“With her, it’s not, ‘I want to look good in that dress,’” trainer Stevie Sant’Angelo tells Us. “She wanted to start moving around because she thought it would make her feel better.
“She told me, ‘They said some rude, mean things, but that’s not why I wanted to change,’” Sant’Angelo says.
Here are a few recent pictures of Jennifer. You can judge for yourself, but have you ever been to a call center where people sit 8 hours a day, only moving to reach for a bag of Cheetos? Then when they do finally get up, they have to flail their arms like they’re on a balance beam to get out of their chair because gravity has made it so most of their fat has settled in their ass causing it to become disproportionate in weight to the rest of their body? Jennifer’s butt is like that, but less so. So, I guess… good job Jennifer?

Jennifer Love Hewitt and her fiance, Ross McCall, are planning what they call an “intimate” ceremony for their upcoming wedding. Though Jennifer won’t give details about the date or location - probably to avoid the nasty comments of Internet bloggers who might make fun of her backside or something - she did say that she and Ross want something romantic but low-key.
Jennifer Love Hewitt is already plotting out her upcoming wedding to Scottish actor Ross McCall.
“You know Diana and Charles – it’s going to be a little like that!” she joked with Usmagazine.com at SBE’s The Abbey on Sunday.
Kidding aside, “it is going to be small and private and romantic and wonderful,” Hewitt, 29, told Us. “We have nothing picked out yet.”
“We are very low-key people,” McCall, 32, added. “If we kind of wake up and say, ‘Let’s go do it,’ that’s how we will do it.”
The actress — who met McCall on the set of her CBS show Ghost Whisperer — got engaged in November, around the time those controversial bikini photos of her surfaced.
“We fell in love,” she told Us of how she spent her downtime during the recent writers’ strike. “We had a lot of fun, did a lot of traveling.”
So was it love at first sight for the pair?
“Absolutely,” Hewitt told Us. “As soon as I saw him.”
I never thought much of Jennifer before Bikinigate, but she has really conducted herself with dignity, class and a sense of humor since then. I’m rooting for her to be able to pull off this wedding without too much privacy invasion, and for the marriage itself to work. That said, you will not catch me watching “The Ghost Whisperer.”
