The huge sums of money generated by the Sex and the City movie has inspired Courtney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston to do a feature film for Friends. The idea has been thrown around for a while, but never came to fruition because people were worried Aniston was too big to play Rachel. Huh?

‘As the biggest star of the Friends franchise, Jennifer can’t help but look at what’s happened with Sarah Jessica Parker and the Sex And The City film and be a little jealous.

‘What’s held back a Friends movie so far is that people were worried that Jennifer had simply become too famous to play Rachel again.

‘But the truth is that Jennifer is finally willing to do it, and she’d love to work with that whole team of actors and producers again.

Jennifer’s fame consists of tabloids speculating whether or not she’s being holed out by John Mayer. Her biggest hit post-Friends was showing her ass in The Break-Up. Suffice to say, no one cares about Jennifer Aniston unless she’s doing something sexy. An angry tiger could maul her this afternoon and the only question the media would ask is, “Was she naked?”

Katie Holmes insulted Victoria Beckham by calling tattoos trashy

It’s been a while since Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham have been seen out together spending their husbands’ money on overpriced clothing they’ll wear for a fraction of a day. Star offers a potential explanation for their maybe-rift in the form of “insider information” that’s likely to be completely fabricated, but is too good to pass up. Katie is said to have called tattoos “trashy,” and since Victoria Beckham enjoys decorating her twig-like limbs with permanent ink, she is said to have found that comment particularly insulting:

It’s arctic between Katie Holmes and her fashion mentor, Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham, and a source tells Star that it’s all because of a tattoo! Thrilled with her latest tat [on the inside of her wrist] of the Latin phrase “De Integro” - it means “afresh” - Posh urged BFF Katie to get inked herself. Posh, who got this fifth one to mark her new start in the U.S., “was pretty shocked and upset” when the Mad Money actress called such body art trashy, says the source.

You can see Katie Holmes saying this. She dresses and acts like an old lady, it’s not a stretch to claim she thinks like one too. (Although people of all ages think tattoos are trashy.)

Katie and Victoria famously attended Paris Fashion Week together in October, 2006, and spent time in Paris again in January, 2007. Apart from some get-togethers with their husbands they haven’t spent a lot of time together since. The last we heard of the Cruises and Beckhams together was in early December, 2006 when Tom and Katie took Suri to a Spice Girls concert. Maybe they just aren’t best buddies. Or maybe Katie did insult Victoria - by copping her look and then calling her former good friend’s body art “trashy.”

Jennifer Aniston is gifted a $12,000 bike from Courteney Cox

Obviously those pictures of Jennifer Aniston with the teeny, tiny little belly (and great legs) with the associated baby bump speculation have gotten her worried about her figure – she’s taken up cycling, with a little help from Courteney Cox.

Courteney Cox has bought Jennifer Aniston a $12,000 Chanel bicycle.

The actress bought her ‘Friends’ pal the expensive pushbike after she expressed an interest taking up cycling.

A source close to the star said: “Jennifer said she wanted to start bike riding because it’s such good exercise. So Courteney sent her the new, ultra-chic Chanel bicycle.”

The bike features eight speeds, weighs 36lbs and comes complete with a quilted leather seat and saddlebag emblazoned with the famous Chanel ‘CC’ logo.

The source continued: “Courteney only sent Jennifer the bike two weeks ago but she already loves it! She goes out riding all the time.”

Some friends are better than others – pun intended. Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston seem to have a friendship that is going to last for all their lives, which is a very valuable thing. Perhaps even more valuable than a Chanel bike. Who even knew Chanel made bikes? Do they make those horrid bike pants from the 90s still? I would love to ride around town on my Hello Kitty bike (jealous of my wheels?) with a big linked C on my behind. That would be very attractive indeed.

In other Jen news, it seems that the whole world is speculating that she is either devastated about Angelina Jolie’s pregnancy, or it doesn’t matter to her. I’m leaning on the side of not caring, since she’s probably had three years and four other children to get used to the whole concept of ‘my ex-husband has a family with someone else’. I’m sure she read the news and felt a little pang of regret or sadness, because that is only human, but somehow I can’t imagine Jen sobbing in a corner. Her life seems pretty good to me – particularly if those Jason Lewis rumours are true.

Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens talk about their friendship

The current issue of US Weekly features “Secrets of the New Power Girls” on the cover and has details inside about teen sensations like Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and Rihanna. There’s a cute inset article in which Vanessa and Ashley, stars of the mega hit Disney special High School Musical, dish about their friendship. They say they love shopping and going to pilates classes together and that they are just good friends without any kind of rivalry that’s so common in Hollywood:

You two are super-close. What makes your bond so strong?
Ashley: I call her my twin sister. She’s always there for me. Some people are really competitive; we’re not. We’re really supportive of each other. You don’t find that a lot in this business.
Vanessa: We were never competitive in any way, shape or form. We completely understand each other. She’s a lot of fun, and she’s just grounded.

What do you like to do when you hang out together?
Vanessa: What do girls like to do together? Shop!
Ashley: Vanessa took me to get my first pair of Christian Louboutins. I love them!

Do you ever share clothes?
Vanessa: We totally do! It’s awesome. I still have my Uggs at her house. I’m like, “I need them back!” she’s like, “I can’t find your other show.”

What else do you share?
Vanessa: We go to pilates a lot. We just went this morning, and I’m really sore right now.

It’s refreshing that they talk about having fun shopping together and going to pilates. Ashley Tisdale is 22 and of age to drink, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen her at a Hollywood club or bar, and she would be welcome at the hottest places. Although Vanessa is just 19 she probably would be able to sneak into some clubs, but it doesn’t seem like she’s even tried. Hudgens had that naked photo scandal but the pictures weren’t that provocative and just featured her nude standing around. Overall these two have been good examples of how to have a relatively normal young adult life in the spotlight, and it seems like that’s what US is focusing on in the light of all the public problems that the Spears girls and some other former child stars have been facing recently.

US also has separate interviews with best friends Vanessa and Ashley. Vanessa reveals that she doesn’t like her littlest fans following her around and that helps her realize she’s too young for marriage and children:

Though she’s dating fellow HSM sensation Zac Efron, 20, don’t expect wedding bells any time soon. “I’m way too young,” says the star… And forget about kids. “Right now, I do not like kids at all,” she says. “I love my fans and everything, but when you have little kids following you around all day, it’s like, ‘Oh, God, kids!’ Maybe when I get older that will change.”

Vanessa says that one of the prices of fame is that she can’t wear casual clothing outside the house anymore. She wishes she could schlup around in sweats, but says she doesn’t “want to be caught wearing a nasty old shirt!”

In Ashley’s interview she reveals that she’s excited about a new Barbie doll of herself that’s coming out. She already has an HSM dolll, and says of the upcoming Barbie that “This one really looks like me!” She says her “face is 200 percent [sic] better now” after her nose job “to fix a deviated septum.” US also has a nice blurb about how Ashley met Celine Dion, who told her “Thank you for being such a positive role model for my son!” Ashley is currently dating backup dancer Jared Murillo, and is at work recording her second CD.

Ashley and Vanessa will next appear together in High School Musical 3: Senior Year, which is currently in pre-production and is scheduled to come out in theaters on October 24, 2008.

50 Cent says Eminem is not doing as poorly as people think

Everyone was wondering what’s going on with Eminem since he suffered a recent heath scare and hasn’t been photographed in over a year. He was hospitalized over the holidays in his native Detroit with pneumonia and heart problems. Sources say the 5′7″ rapper/actor weighs over 200 pounds, which is borderline obese for his height. His friend 50 Cent says he’s doing ok, and that reports of his poor health are exaggerated. 50 was interviewed at Sundance, where he announced that he will be starting a production company with the support of Vitaminwater, in which he owned a stake before it was sold to Coca Cola. He was said to have earned $100 million from the sale of the company.

50 Cent is trying his hand behind the camers. “I’m starting a production company right now,” the mogul, who was celebrating his first trip to the Sundance Film Festival, tells In Touch. “I decided to come out here to announce my film career, and Vitaminwater is behind me all the way.” The rapper also spoke out in support of his mentor and friend Eminem… “I got a chance to see him a few weeks ago and people think he is in a worse state than he actually is.”

We published what we thought was one of the first pictures of Eminem looking heavy. The National Enquirer labeled the photo “Now” and included no disclaimer that it was a photo reproduction. It was actually a picture from a series taken in March, 2006 and was Photoshopped by the Enquirer to make Eminem’s face look fat. We were not aware that the image was altered until commentors pointed it out to us. Eminem’s grandmother dished to the press the Enquirer that he’s stressed from his two failed marriages to ex-wife Kim and wanted to create a stable home life for his daughter, Hailie, 12. Eminen is said to be binging on take out food and overeating at chain restaurants.

Hopefully Eminem will get his heath back on track soon. He has a new album coming out sometime this year. Get well soon, Em, people want to see you perform again and a few extra pounds don’t matter.

Demi Moore, best birthing coach in the entire universe

Who would ever have thought Demi Moore was the supportive, maternal type? I know she has kids, but she seems more the type to hatch them in a lab than actually grow them in her womb. But apparently Demi is not just maternal, but a super-wonderful birthing coach. To Soleil Moon Frye. Yeah, Punky Brewster. That seems random, right? Every so often “People” will do some story about how such and such actress is best friends with this other actress and has been for ten years, even though you’ve never once heard them mention the other. Apparently Demi Moore and Soleil Moon Frye are BFF, and Demi was Soleil’s birthing coach during the delivery of her first child. And know that Soleil is about to have her second, she’s hoping Demi’s still on board.

When Soleil Moon Frye delivers her second child, she may once again have a comforting – and famous – friend at her side: Demi Moore. “This one,” Frye, 31, told PEOPLE on Thursday, pointing to Moore at the grand opening of Frye’s eco-friendly baby boutique The Little Seed, “she’s the queen mama. She’s the most incredible mom.”

But Moore, 45, who was there with Frye when the Punky Brewster star gave birth to her daughter two years ago, says Frye “is doing just fine.” And will Moore, a mother of three, return to the delivery room for Frye next year? “I hope so!” Moore told PEOPLE. “We got to keep the team together.”

“Are you kidding?” chimes in Frye, “She’s the best birthing coach in the entire universe.”

That’s just very, very random. It’s like finding out Rosanne and Hilary Duff are best friends. Apparently the two met when Frye’s husband, Jason Goldberg, produced “Punk’d” – the classy, sophisticated show hosted by Ashton Kutcher. And the bond must have pretty tight, to let Demi Moore into the room when you’re pushing humans out of you. Somehow Demi’s presence seems about as comforting and reassuring as having a ten-foot-tall praying mantis in the room, screaming “Push, damn it, or I will snap your head off with my claws!” I have no idea of praying mantises do that, but I’m pretty sure that a Demi Moore/praying mantis hybrid would. And then she would bring you a lovely bassinet from Petit Tresor, because let’s face it, she’s still Demi Moore and must hand out a decent amount of swag to get people to tolerate her.
