A Kitchen Nightmares update

Source: seriouslyomg.com

One of the restaurants featured on Fox’s Kitchen Nightmares was Sebastian’s. The owner refused to take Gordon Ramsey’s advice and went back to the menu that Gordon said wasn’t working for him. Well yesterday I drove by Sebastian’s and it is no longer there. There was a new Italian restaurant in its place, the third Italian restaurant in that spot in that 7 years.
So I guess long story, Gordon was right.
BTW I am going to make my friend try the new place with me and I will let you know how it is. Sebastian’s wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good enough for me to go to a second time.

The Return of Jezebel James is worth returning to!

Source: seriouslyomg.com

When I first got the DVD to review The Return of Jezebel James I was like do I really have to watch this. Well I finally put it in and I am shocked to admit I actually really like it.
Parker Posey plays a busy business woman who finds out she can’t have kids, so she asks her estranged jobless sister to bear her child. Six Feet Under’s Lauren Ambrose plays her sister that agrees to do it in order to have a place to live in for the duration of the pregnancy. I know it sounds like a weird premise, but it actually works! It is kind of like those irrelevant sitcoms in the ’80s that they used to do before Sienfeld did a show about nothing and sitcoms got serious.
So tune in the The Return of Jezebel James tonight on Fox at 8p.

The best question ever on The Moment of Truth!

Source: seriouslyomg.com

OMG! Who knew you could make a wax replica of male private parts and that someone would admit on national TV that they did! I just love everyones reaction to the question and the answer and can you believe that was only the second question for him.
They will say that Michael Greenland answered tougher questions like did he sleep with any of his wife’s sisters that he dated? or did he sleep with any of his friends’ wives, but I personally think the above questions is the toughest one to answer!
Greenland went home with $100,000 after admitting that he did sleep with at least one of his friend’s wives and opted not to go for the $500,000. Wimp. How much worse could the questions have gotten…obviously they were…
BTW I wonder how many candles were sent to the his house and place of employment after last night’s show.

New Amsterdam premieres on Fox tonight at 9p.

NEW AMSTERDAM centers on a brilliant and enigmatic New York homicide detective unlike any other. And he has a profound secret — he is immortal.
In 1642, JOHN AMSTERDAM (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), then a Dutch solider in the colony of New Amsterdam – later to become New York City — stepped in front of a sword to save the life of a Native American girl during a massacre of her indigenous tribe. The girl in turn rescued Amsterdam, weaving an ancient spell that conferred immortality upon him. Amsterdam will not age, she told him, until he finds his one true love. Only then will he become whole and ready for mortality.
Amsterdam has found this to be a mixed blessing. Over the course of three centuries, he’s experienced endless adventure and honed his many talents. But everyone Amsterdam meets must leave him in time; friends, lovers and children grow old and eventually die, while he remains young. The exhilaration of eternal life has given way to emotional isolation and loneliness; the blessing has become a curse. His sole confidant and current lifelong friend is the sage jazz club owner OMAR (Stephen Henderson), the keeper of Amsterdam’s secret, as well as a few of his own.
Having witnessed its entire history from colonial outpost to mega-metropolis, John Amsterdam is the living embodiment of New York City. He and the island of Manhattan are joined — part and parcel. Bringing to bear the unorthodox techniques and unique knowledge gained from his vast life experience, Amsterdam today is one of the NYPD’s best homicide detectives, sparring with his vibrant, strong-willed partner EVA MARQUEZ (Zuleikha Robinson) as they solve difficult murder cases.

New Amsterdam finally premieres on Fox tonight at 9p after American Idol! I say finally because the show was originally suppose to air in the fall.
The concept of the show is interesting, a man who cannot die until he meets his true love. In the search for true love he has met many women and has had two children that we know of. The pilot also has him chasing a subject and dying (for a little while) from his heart exploding. He is convinced that he had the heart attack because the woman that will free him was there at that time. Now he is on a search to find her so he can grow old and die.
The show also has your procedural crime drama for those of you who are in to that!
So check out New Amsterdam tonight at 9p on Fox!

Can you believe Cops is 20 years old? Well tonight on Fox at 8p you can watch the best of Cops and believe me it is must see TV! It is incredible how stupid some of the people they busted are and there are also some really good freaks in the show too. There are cops chases, cross dressers, drugs bust, tasering and a food fight, what more do you need?

So tune into Cops tonight at 9p, they have a bust for everyone!!!

Hugh Laurie is back in the Fox House tonight at 9p!!!

OMG! House is back and better than ever!!! House as we know lost his team in the season finale and I have to admit I don’t miss them at all!!! We get some new characters like Wicked Wilson and Conniving Cuddy and both are so awesome! There is something about the way that the three play together that House doesn’t need his team. After watching the first two episodes, you kind of feel that they have been weighing him down for the last three seasons…sorry to Jennifer Morrison, Omar Epps and Jesse Spencer.

Besides getting Wicked Wilson and Conniving Cuddy we get a new bunch of  doctors (40 to be exact) trying to get a fellowship with House. They include Olivia Wilde from The Black Donnellys, Kal Penn from Harold and Kumar go to The White Castle and Peter Jacobson from The Starter Wife. The new doctors bring new specialties and new interesting ways to solve the cases. BTW the cases are just as good as they were always were and not as predictable because like I said new specialties new ways to solve the cases!!! And for those you who really like House’s old team, don’t worry they slowly come back in the second episode!
So tune into House tonight on Fox at 9p (after Bones) to see what is shaping up to be the best season ever!!!

Bones is back on the case tonight on Fox at 8p!!!

1437227741_9895fb305e.jpg?v=0

Bones is back where it belongs with House on Tuesdays at 8p on Fox! The show picks up a few months later with a bunch of new hair-dos, Zach is still in Iraq, Angela and Hodgins are still not married but wanting to and Booth and Bones are acting awkward together after being left at the alter. Once you get through all those updates, there is still a case that has to be solved and believe me you will sink your teeth into this case. Unlike other seasons it looks like this case will go on and develop through the next few episodes which is fine with me because this show is not as predictable as the other procedurals!

What keeps this show around is that is really good and the chemistry is one of the best on primetime TV and their cases and the way that they handle them is so different than the other shows!

If you never seen Bones before and are afraid because it is in its third season it is too late, scrap that because you can rent the first 2 seasons on DVD and you don’t really need to see them to get the idea of what is going on with the show!

So tune into Bones on Fox tonight at 8p and sink your teeth in to this great show!!!

BTW I really hope Fox brings back Stephen Fry as Booth’s psychiatrist!!!
