“Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” is coming back for a second season on VH1 and is set to premiere in October.

The show will pretty much be the same with a few minor adjustments.

Jeff Conaway will be back seeking treatment after having back surgeries causing him to become reliant on pain meds. Other quasi-celebs looking to clean-up are Sean Stewart, Amber Smith (model/actress), Rodney King, Nikki McKibbon (American Idol), Steven Adler (Guns n Roses) and Tawny Kitaen.

Gary Busey, who claims to have been clean for the past 13 years will also be a part of the show, offering support and sharing his experiences with addiction. Drug counselor Bob Forrest and resident technician Shelly Sprague will also return to be a part of the show this season.

Patients will undergo an intensive 21-day program. Families of the celebs will be more involved this time around and sometimes will undergo treatment themselves.

Steven Tyler, 60, has checked into rehab for substance abuse.

He’s staying at the Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena. This is the same rehab clinic that Dr. Drew practices at and where the VH1 reality show Celebrity Rehab was filmed.

Tyler suffers from Hepatitis C and has said in the past that he is a recovering drug addict.

What can I say, I love this girl. I love her big-ass hair, her awkward shimmy, her rough sultry voice, I just love her.

Just imagine how much better she’d be without all the smack and that loser stank breath husband. Hopefully she has gotten rid of one of the two. And the second problem might just take care of itself…

TMZ caught the recently rehabbed Mary Carey outside Mr. Chow last night and we are happy to report that she is still sober.

Mary talked with the paps about the Daniel Baldwin incident on ‘Celebrity Rehab’ in which he text messaged her dirty messages and asked where he could buy her X-rated films.

The day after, he asked her to keep it quiet, since he is a married man. Instead, she came forward with the information to fellow rehabbers and to Dr. Drew. His wife found out about it and has since called Mary.

Before Amy Winehouse went live on the Grammy’s last week, producers decided that the American audience may be offended by the nude pin-up girl tattoo on her arm. Cuz you know, we are such prudes when it comes to our television. (Nipplegate, anyone?)

So they actually drew on a bikini top -with Amy’s eyeliner – to cover the breasts on the tattoo.

(And only to have Jane Fonda say c*nt on live television a few days later.  Heh – How’s that for ironic.)

Amy washed the eyeliner off her arm soon after the performance.

Did anyone even notice?

I think Amy Winehouse looked great! I mean, at least she could remember all the words to her songs and actually said something during her acceptance. Hooray for Amy, I hope she really does get sober. I just love her!

The US Embassy has denied Amy Winehouse’s request for a visa, quashing her hopes of attending this weekend’s Grammy Awards.

Winehouse is said to be extremely disappointed that she will miss the event.

I’m bummed too! I was hoping to see the talented junkie at the show, possibly sober even!

“Amy has been progressing well since entering a rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago and although disappointed with the decision has accepted the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery,” the Outside Organization said.

It’s not immediately known why a visa was rejected for Winehouse, but one could bet it’s most likely due to her reputation for being a massive drug ingesting machine!

For her, it’s probably better. I’m thinking rehab is a great place for her at this time, and besides, a trip to the US might send her on another month long bender. Get clean Amy! You’re only 24, you’ll have plenty of time for awards shows if you can kick the junk. Otherwise, probably not so much..

Kirsten Dunst is the latest celebrity to check themselves into rehab.

It looks like Kirsten will be joining Eva Mendes at the Cirque Lodge in Utah, according to Star magazine.

A source said, “She desperately needed help. She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic. She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears. She not in a good place right now, but thankfully, she’s getting the help she needs.”

Dunst, 25, has been known for the past few years as a party girl who loves her wine and likes to have late night parties at her home.

It seems Hollywood is just one big rehab, baby-making, looney bin trainwreck right now! All aboard!
