Billy Crystal wants to be Mr Saturday Night every night

Page Six is reporting that Billy Crystal is looking to become the latest nighttime talk show host and I for one would love to see that. The paper said:

"Billy was initially set on Conan O’Brien’s slot when Conan takes over for Jay Leno on ‘The Tonight Show,’ but even if that didn’t work out he would do something in syndication. He’s looking for a five-year contract paying $20 million a year." A rep for Crystal said, "There have been no discussions with NBC to take over for Conan."

I loved him on SNL, I loved him as an Oscar host and I am sure I will love him hosting a TV show. Crap I would give up Jimmy Kimmel to watch him and I think he is the only person I would do that for!!! Let’s hope this rumor is true!!! Shame though that Jack Palance is not around to be a guest.
