Angelina and James Haven Forget Their Dad Isn’t Dead

James Haven refuses to go away from the media spotlight, and the longer he stays, the more bizarre the comments that come out of his strangely full lips become. He says that he and his sister Angelina identify themselves with the children she adopts because they are orphans themselves. Hello, isn’t his dad–Oscar winning actor John Voight–still alive?
From TMZ:
Haven says, “There were times when our father was awesome, but my biggest memory is that he would look more to our faults than to our strengths, and that’s what was so hard.”
“Now that our mother has died, we’re two orphans, Angie and I, so she has a deep understanding of the orphans she adopts.”
I’m sorry–surely BOTH your parents have to be dead in order to qualify you as an orphan? I know James feels Voight is dead in his eyes because his daddy never bought him a car while he was at Beverly Hills High, but that doesn’t give him the right to compare his circumstances with that of Angelina’s children–who have actually been born in true poverty without a parental presence.
I really hope Angelina comes around and stops her brother from doing any more interviews. He has put his foot in his mouth so many times that he must able to fit his whole leg in by now.
